Windows Vista Service Pack 1 (SP1) was released about a week ago. SP1 was suppose to make Vista faster and more stable, but so far we’ve mainly heard complaints about the incompatible drivers. Over at bit-tech they decided to look at the gaming performance of Vista SP1 and compare it to regular Windows Vista with hotfixes. Even though there are some differences in the graphics performance, we’re not sure if any of them are not within the margin of error. Overall, there are gains in tests and losses in others. Overall, not much of a difference.
