Microsoft confirmed this thursday a potential threat against all users of Windows 2000, even if you have all the latest patches. This new security breach, which has been discovered in windows explorer makes it possible for others to use the preview pane or Web view to send potential harmful code to your system, viruses. This applies to Windows 2000 Professional, Windows 2000 Server and Windows 2000 Advanced Server, but other systems that relies on preview pane or Web view are also affected. Source: MSFN
