Patriot Memory har lanserat nya minneskit i sin serie Viper II och modulerna som används är av DDR3-modell med en kapacitet på 2GB. Patriot släpper både tvåkanals och trekanals minneskit med de nya modulerna och klockfrekvenserna börjar på ganska fina 1600MHz och slutar för toppmodellen på hela 2000MHz. Trekanalskiten når sina specificerade hastigheter vid 1.65V för att inte hamna i onåd med Intels Core i7-processorer och gör det faktiskt med ganska aggressiva minneslatenser, 8-8-8-24. Tvåkanalskiten som mer riktar sig mot AMDs plattform har en spänning på 1.9V och 7-7-7-20 minneslatenser.
