Thermalright did a sneak preview of the GPU cooler Shaman. The cooler is compatible with nearly all high-end graphics cards, even the coming Radeon HD 6800, but has now shown its raw strength by cooling a heavily overclocked GeForce GTX 460.

Thermalright has shared a teaser showing an open system that after 10 minutes in Furmark 1.8.2 shows a GPU temperature of only 61 degrees Celsius. Extra impressive is that that the graphics card has been overclocked to 900 MHz GPU and 1800 MHz shaders clock, compared to the reference of 675 MHz/ 1350 MHz.

Ambient temperature was high at 28 degrees and the fan was the same silent TY-140 model (1300 RPM at 21 dBA) used with Thermalright Spitfire.

Shaman looks like a killer cooler for GPUs, the big question we’re still wondering about is the price. It should be revaled on September 30th, launch day.
