Sony PSP lacks integrated storage, but rely on UMD media and Sony’s Memory Stick Pro Duo for storing data. This is apparently about to change as the next version that Sony will release is expected to use 8GB NAND flash memory. We’ve earlier recevied information that stated that Sony had given up on NAND flash and use a microdrive, but this turned out to be just a trick to make Samsung offer it better prices. If this is correct is hard to say by now, but it sure seems like Sony will be going for integrated storage with the next version of its portable gaming console.
