Revoltec has decided to broaden its assortment with two new cases for the home and the office. Revoltec has been going for a more luxurious look. The bigger of the two, RT-201, brings support for e-ATX motherboards, but of course also the smaller ATX versions. A stylish door with a subtle light hides the four 5.25″ slots and the two external 3.5″ slots. On top of both cases there are connectors for USB, FireWire, mic and headphones. RT-201 also has an eSATA connector. The smaller RT-101 has, just like its bigger brother, a harddrive cage that has been turned 90° to ease the installation of the harddrives. Both cases are expected to appear in April costing €130 for the RT-201 and €70 for the RT-101.

”The 205 (front 235)x 565 x 470mm (WxDxH) super-midi tower RT-201 has four 5.25″, two external 3.5″ and three internal 3.5″ drive slots. A fluorescent stick is positioned centrally in the aluminium door front and can be illuminated by a blue LED. The mesh grid in the upper and lower sections behind the door front ensures better air passage. A cooling airflow into the interior is also possible thanks to the preinstalled 120 mm case fan.”

”The midi ATX tower RT-101 from Revoltec has a total of 10 drive slots despite its compact dimensions of 190 (front 215) x 490 x 440 mm (WxDxH). Four 5.25″ and two 3.5″ drives are accessible from the outside. On the inside, the hard disk cage provides space for a total of four 3.5″ hard disks. The top interface element allows the comfortable connection of two USB 2.0, IEEE 1394 and microphone and headset. An air duct in the side section of the compact midi tower ensures the efficient cooling of heat-intensive components.”
