Thermaltake has launched three new power supplies in the ToughPower Grand series sporting a clean design and soft line but also high and efficient performance. With up to 93% efficiency Thermaltake ThoughPower Grand has been award 80 Plus Gold certification and up to 1,200 watt output.
Thermaltake extends the ToughPower Grand series with three models rated at 850 watt, 1,050 watt and 1,200 watt. All units use dual +12V rails for better stability and reduced risks for unstable voltages, according to ThermalTake.
ToughPower Grand has gone through rigorous tests before going out to stores and the units will be capable of working 24/7 at temperatures up to 50°C. Japanese solid capacitors and a circuit board with Ultra Durable 3 oz technology for optimized performance.
The units are equipped with a load of cables including eight PCIe 6+2 pin connectors for graphics cards and 12 SATA power connectors. The large 140mm fan will cool the PSUs at a relatively low level of noise, while it will keep spinning for 15-30 seconds after the computer is turned off to minimize stress from overheated components.
