Free performance is never wrong. I am not a geek has taken a thorough look at how you can get faster Windows. Their guide for how to turn off unnecessary functions is of a total of ten pages. E.g. it walks you through how to optimize an NTFS-partition, and how you do to uninstall the integrated burning software.
