SandForce’s new SSD processors in the SF-2000 series has barely launched but already SSD makers are lining up, which is anything bu surprising since SF-2500 whips anything we’ve seen so far. OCZ has confirmed working on SandForce’s new controller.

OCZ Technology was the company that took on SandForce’s SSD processors and has had a good relation with the chip maker that has been gaining an all the more influence on the SSD market.

OCZ will now equip a new model of the business unit Deneva with SandForce SF-2500/2600 processors and the specifications is just as bright as before. With 1.8″, 2.5″ or 3.5″ formats the drives will connect to all kinds of interfaces. The theoretic performane specifications stands at read and write speeds up to 500 MB/s and 60,000 IOPS at random write of 4KB files.

OCZ’ new Deneva family is expected to launch starting next year, date nor price were not revealed.
