Several companies represented by engineers from Nokia and VeriSign has during a trade show announced a DRM solution for mobile platforms such as cell phones. The solution will be based on TCG’s (Trusted Computer Group) TPM (Trusted Platform Module) whcih is expected be used with PC-hardware already next year. TPM can be used to verify both systems and software and just as with kind of DRM the goal is to make sure applications is only used for what they are intended for and by people with the rights to do so.
