Intel has made one of its most important launches in a very long time through its Conroe architecture which house inside its Core 2 Duo/Extreme family. At GDHardware they’ve had a chat with Dan Snyder from Intel where they discuss a lot regarding Conroe and the Core architecture’s future. They discuss the lack of SLI-capable motherboards for the Conroe platform where Intel as expected will not do anything but wait for NVIDIA’s decision to launch its own platform or drivers that allow SLI to run on Intel’s own chipsets. They have several interesting questions and answers where also system builders in the form of Falcon Northwest and game developers, EPIC, shares their opinions about Intel’s new processors.
