Video card manufacturer EVGA has together with cooling manufacturer Innovatek displayed a water cooling system for two GeForce 7900 GTX in SLI. They’ve had this up for display at CeBIT and done so at considerably lower temperatures than before, about 42 degrees Celcius, when overclocked to 700MHz, from its stock speed at 650MHz. According to The Inquirer it’s hard to get past that and when running SLI you will have a hard time reaching 700MHz with 7900 GTX. We can tell you right away that they are wrong as our master overclocker Kinc at the moment is pressuring his cards at considerably higher speeds using just the stock cooler and without any modifications both cards are running at 720MHz with SLI.

More information about its overclocking attempts will published soon. But until then you can take a close look at EVGA and Innovatek’s water cooling kit which will be a nice addition to any SLI system, especially with GeForce 7900 GTX.
