Dell has lately started selling AMD-CPU’s in their online store, something which led to different kinds of reactions when revealed for some week ago. At Znet they’ve published an article about the subject, where they bring up exactly why Dell sells AMD-CPU’s, and the reason for that according to Dell is that their customers request it. At the same time they claim that they always evaluate ”new technologies” but that they don’t have AMD-CPU’s in their full-scale computer systems at the moment. Somewhat contradictive, some may say, and considering AMD’s evolution it feels like only a matter of time before Dell releases the ties for their full-scale computer systems for sale.
