AOpen MiniPC was AOpen’s aswer to Apple’s Mac mini when it was launched and by using Intel’s Pentium M platform it was a similar case with better performance. Now that Apple has also transferred to Intel’s platform the similarities between Mac mini and AOpen MiniPC are more than ever before and at Anandtech they’ve taken a thorough look at AOpen’s minimalistic PC. It really seems like AOpen will have a hard time to compete with Apple’s Intel Mac mini that not only offer better hardware with its Core Duo support but also costs less. We’ve also noticed that there is a new version of AOpen MiniPC is coming and with support for Intel Core Duo it will be a very interesting update.
