Patriot is one of the latest manufacturers on the memory market and just as with many other it focuses on the modules. The chips are bought from other manufacturers. This doesn’t necesserily mean that that making the madules is easy and especially not when you launch DDR-modules specified at outrageous 700Mhz. At HardWare Secrets they’ve taken a tour at Patriot’s plant located in Silicon Valley. The factory was far from the biggest they’ve seen but Patriot still manages to keep a high productivity.
