Xtreamer has become a respected actor among media player developers and during CeBIT 2011 the company will reveal a number of new products. Xtreamer Prodigy HD looks like one of the more interesting with a tasteful design and powerful hardware, 3TB support and flash-based user interface.

Xtreamer Prodigy HD has already been posted at the company website and beside the regular arsenal including support for 1080p playback, room for harddrive and optional WiFi the player has a bunch of extended functions. The player is quite stylish and measures 24.2 (L) x 6.6 (H) x 25.1 (B) cm.

Xtreamer has given the player a Realtek 1185 processor with 256MB RAM and plenty of power. The new Realtek circuit powers, among others, an integrated harddrive up to 3TB capacity, but spend most of the time with the new GUI of Xtreamer Prodigy HD. Based on Adobe Flash it is a highly interactive interface that stands from anything we’ve seen before.

If we go back to the specifications we find support for external harddrives through USB 3.0, backwards compatible of course, a dedicated Opera browser supporting HTML 5 to enable browsing through the media player. Gigabit Ethernet, Apple AirPlay, Dolby TrueHD and DTS-HD Master Audio are also supported.

The player can read ISO files for both DVD and Blu-Ray, while there also are online media services like Youtube, Facebook, Google Talk, Flickr, Picasa, etc.
