Windows XP 64-Bit Edition has been going through its producing stages for some time now and right now people are basically just waiting for Microsoft to officially launch their anticipated operating system. Especially since both AMD and Intel have large quantities of 64-bit capable processors out on the market, ”some” have of course had them out for ”some time” longer though than the other. At The Inquirer they claim that Intel has leaked information that points to that Microsoft will launch their 64-bit versions of Windows XP and Server during today’s WinHEC conference.
