R.O.G. Striker II Extreme is based on the upcoming NVIDIA nForce 790i chipset and will succeed R.O.G. Striker II. ASUS was one of few motherboard manufacturers that chose to release motherboards with the lackluster nForce 780i chipset, but things are expected to be a lot different with nForce 790i. Benchmarks and memory overclocking has been displayed earlier, and over at Korean site Brainbox they’ve published a bunch of pictures of the soon to be released Striker II Extreme.
