Unigine Heaven has become a popular benchmark for graphics cards, especially those who want to measure DirectX 11 performance. The developers behind the benchmarks has now released a new version of the benchmark that supports more GPUs and new effects, like realtime global lighting.

Unigine Heaven Benchmark 2.5 supports indirect occlusion (SSDO) for simulating global lighting in realtime, while it has improved the quality of shadows through an updated support for ambient occlusion.

Unigine has also released a Professional version of the software where a 495 USD license allows you to use the benchmark for commercial purposes, like product demonstrations. More information on Heaven Benchmark and download links can be found at Unigine’s website.
