The SuperSpeed USB 3.0 interface can reach speeds 10 times higher than USB 2.0, in theory.Even if the actual performance isn’t as breathtaking the difference is still significant and Transcend has now paired the new interface with with a durable harddrive in a slim format.
Transcend StoreJet 25D3 USB 3.0 has a regular 2.5″ mechanical harddrive, but i can still achieve transfer speeds up to 90MB/s and spots advanced anti-shock technology to make it extra durable.
Transcend has also used a multi-color activity LED that shines in orange when connected to USB 2.0, but shifts to blue when connected to the faster USB 3.0 interface.
