Tour of the IM Flash Technology plant

Intel and Micron and the joint venture IM Flash Technologies is a market leader in NAND flash technology and thus a force on the SSD market. We recently covered the unveiling of its new 25nm technology that will enforce its position among the leading companies. Making and baking transistors that only the size of a couple of atoms is a precision work unlike any other. IMFT decided to open its doors to spread the knowledge of exactly how precise the work is.
