The tip of the day will show you how to dig up some fundemental information about a computer that uses Windows XP.

Start the command prompt:
Start > Run > cmd.

When there type ”systeminfo”, you can be in any folder, and this will bring up loads of information about your system such as processor type, amount of memory etc. But also information about for how long your computer has been running, so called uptime.

A smart tool if you want to keep track of how long your computer has been running or simply want some system information about an unknown computer.

I have a tip to share!
