The tip of the day is a very useful command for those who are used to working with he Detailed list view in the Explorer.

When you chose to view the content in the Explorer as ”Detailed list” you get several columns with various information. File/folder name, type, size etc. It’s not always, rather never, that these columns have the correct size and when you only see a third of the name or similar it’s hard to get a good overall view. Instead of changing the columns’ size manually there is a simple keyboard command for exactly this

Hold Ctrl and press the ”+”-sign near the keypad. Now all the columns will sized perfectly according to the longest name/text in every column instantly.

I have a tip to share!
