Thermalright revealed a new line of cases at its website previous this week, and the big news about the series was that it used heatpipe s for cooling the components of the case. The only information if offered back then was some rather meaningless pictures, but now that the first live pictures have appeared we know a little more. På TechReport has managed to take some pictures of Thermalright’s HSC series and they reveal about how the cases will work. The sides of the case are more or less two gigantic radiators with heatpipes which removes the heat from a heatsink that is attached to the processor.

Judging from these pictures it’s the processor that is the main target of the cooling. By doing this it will be possible to cool the processor without any fans, but to be honest it doesn’t look all that convenient as both motherboard layout and other component may come in the way of the cooling. Even though we usually praise fresh thinking, Thermalright seems to have some work left.
