OWC Mercury Elite Pro Aluminium Dual RAID has just been launched by Other World Computing and it is a external harddrive with 1TB capacity. Except for a quite impressive storage capacity is supports FireWire800 for optimal transfer speeds. But what really makes the unit stand out is the design. It’s not even hard to tell what platform Other World Computing has geared its product towards ’cause its OWC Mercury Elite-series is more or less a miniature of Apple’s PowerMac G5.
