We earlier reported about how the organisation One Laptop Per Child bumped into trouble when India chose to pass on its $100 laptop. Now it seems like Thailand, Brazil and Argentina will be the three first countries to go for the small laptop. The first of the three will receive over 500 laptops to begin with for testing and debugging. Eventually the three are expected to order between 5 and 7 million units in 2007. We also find out that they are still having conversations with India so there’s still the possibility that the Indian children will get their hands on this little computer eventually.
