SuperTalent earlier presented DDR3 module prototypes and it seems some more pictures have surfaced. Chile-based hardware site ChileHardware has published some more pictures and information about the modules. The first modules that appeared were using memory circuits from Samsung without a specified frequency, but we can now say for certain that they were 800MHz modules. Together with these, SuperTalent has also revealed a set of 1066MHz modules with DDR3 circuits from Qimonda. These modules, if everything goes as planned, will be launched during the third quarter, just in time to be paired with Intel’s new chipset X38.
