A-DATA is first to launch a Solid State Drive based on JMicron’s new JMF616 controller. The new chip has been paired with 128MB DDR2 memory and MLC NAND Flash. A-DATA S596 Turbo A-DATA S596 Turbo also supports TRIM.

A-DATA S596 Turbo uses the SATA 3.0 Gbps interface and has sequential read and write speeds at 260 MB/s and 210 MB/s respectively. The new series is available in 32GB, 64GB, 128GB, and 256GB capacity, covered by 3-year warranty.

The firmware supports Windows 7 TRIM command, which significantly shortens the boot-up time. In addition, because of the new controller, the stability of S596 Turbo is largely raised, ridding users of sudden standstill during data transmission. The S596 Turbo supports Static wear-leveling technology, which extends the SSD’s life.
