Sparkle has announced a new set of power supplies for the demanding users. Sparkle Gold Class is the name of the series and to being with it contains just two models. The top model is rated 1250W while the entry model is ”just” 1000W. Both power supplies are 80Plus Gold certified, which means good efficiency at all times.
Sparkle use modular cables and internally it has dual-layer PCB and temperature controlled 120mm fan. A fan that keeps spinning for 10 seconds after you turn off the system, to minimize heat tear.
The output is distributed over six separate 12V rails and beside 5 year warranty you get three games in the bundle, H.A.W.X., Brothers in Arms: Road to Hill 30 and BiA: Hell’s Highway. An unusual but appreciated addition.
Prices start at 170€.
