Sony DRU-10A is the latest DVD-burner by Sony and despite that is also working with the next generation DVD-format, Blu-ray, they haven’t slowed down the development of its DVD-burners. Sony DRU-810A has namely been euipped with a new control chip compared to earlier versions and considering the compatibility problems Sony DVD-burners have had this is quite understandable. It seems the upgrade was a very smart move as Sony’s new burner handles very well over at Anandtech, however there are burners with the same control chip already available at a lower cost.
