StarCraft II: Wings of Liberty was updated recently to bring some news and improvements to the game. Patch 1.1.0 enables users to play StarCraft II in 3D, through the newfound support for NVIDIA 3D Vision which is at least a nice PR feat for NVIDIA.

To clarify what kind of hardware people will need to enjoy the 3D support NVIDIA has created a sub-section of its own website explaining the requirements.

For the best 3D Vision experience for StarCraft II:

  1. Visit the official StarCraft II site to download patch (1.1 and higher)
  2. Download and install the latest NVIDIA graphics driver (Version 260.63 and higher)
  3. Make sure you are using an NVIDIA 3D Vision-enabled notebook or desktop PC.
