Siemens seems to be one of the companies which is interested in the latest display fad, namely displays that can be printed on paper or carton. A few days ago we reported about a company in Great Britain that had created 14″ printed PLED displays but exactly what Siemens is going to use its technology for is uncertain. It is still working with optimizing the manufacturing process so that the displays can show moving picture in a realistic fashion. The technology will become available on the market in 2007 and it is going to be very interesting to see what these paper displays can do and what use they will find for them.
