Shuttle are known for its cube shaped SFF computers and now that Intel has launched a new and exciting processor platform Shuttle is right on it. On September 1st Lynnfield and the accompanying P55 chipset should appear. None of you can have missed all of the P55 motherboards that have been appearing all over the place, but if we look at next year’s assortment for the LGA1156 platform things have been a lot more quite.

In 2010 Intel will launch a couple of processor models but also chipsets, among them the H57 chipset which will be a high-end version of P55. This chipset has been sighted at Computex and a bit surprisingly it is Shuttle that has presented one of the first H57 motherboards.

Shuttle’s H57 motherboard not only supports Lynnfield but also the coming 32nm Clarkdale CPU that sports an integrated graphics circuit. Other noteworthy features include four DDR3 memory slots and one NVRAM slots for those who wants to use the Braidwood support. With up to 16GB flash memory cache it could make a substantial difference.
