Sharp has at CES Las Vegas presented its latest LCD TVs and among them the world’s largest LCD TV. The new model namely measures 108″ which equals a 2.39 meters wide TV (close to 8 feet) weighing a couple of hundred kilos. The record LCD TV is as expected just a prototype and you will not be able to expect any 108″ LCD TVs in stores anytime soon, but Sharp has managed to steal the show from LG.Philips which hoped to be the best at showing what today’s LCD technology can do. If Sharp will countered by any other competing manufacturer remains to be seen, but Sharp at least has an impressive creation to show at this year’s CES.
