RV790 memory configuration,

Samples of the much rumored RV790 has apparently started to circulate and while the exact core specifications are still largely unknown, the memory configuration is nothing but high-end. The card will use GDDR5 chips from Qimonda operating at 975MHz (3900MHz effective clock) adding up to 1GB all in all, although still leaves 25MHz up to the speed specified by Qimonda. It seems like this will be the first high-end chip from AMD made at the 40nm node, but we’re still trying to confirm that.
