AMD will launch the first graphics cards based on the Northern Islands architecture by the end of the week and to keep the interest up it has chosen to lift the media embargo somewhat. While the full launch launch won’t happen until the end of the week it has allowed media to published pictures of the cards already.
AMD is of course well aware of the leaks of both pictures and specifications that has happened over the last few weeks and even if we get to see the real goodies, benchmarks and full testing, on friday we will be sharing pictures of the new mid-range series soon. Also some information on the focus on DirectX 11 and progress made so far.
