Quake 4 is one of the new games that requires a whole lot of your system for optimal performance. As we wrote yesterday Quake 4 is one of the titles that will lead the transistion to a 2GB RAM standard. A component which of course is very important for advanced 3D-games is the graphic card and at HardwareZone they’ve published an article that compares different graphic card’s Quake 4 performance. Except for testing the latest graphic cards by both nVidia and ATi they have investigated how much the speed of the processor matters in games using Doom3’s graphic engine.
