Prolimatech became famous over night when its processor cooler Megahalems appear on a picture from motherboard manufacturer DFI’s test lab. Since then Prolimatech has launched the cooler both under its own brand and licensed it to DFI. Megahalems is a real heavyweight with numerous aluminum heatsinks weighing at a total of almost 800g. German hardware site PCGH has revealed Prolimatech’s plans for the future and now Megahalems looks almost dwarf like.

Prolimatech has plans to launch no less than three giant processor coolers that looks like no other coolers. The fantastic three consists of Jericho, Genesis and The Mammoth.

Prolimatech Jericho

Jericho is the model that looks the most like Megahalems, and other processor coolers in general, but at the same time it is quite different. Jericho uses the classic tower design we see with so many high-end coolers of today, but Prolimatech has squeezed the 120mm fan in between the two heatsink that offers considerably more mass and surface to air.

Prolimatech Genesis

Genesis also uses two heatsink elements with their own heatpipes for optimized cooling. Unlike Jericho one of the heatsinks is horizontally aligned and each heatsink has a 120mm fan of its own.

Prolimatech The Mammoth

The Mammoth continues down the same path as Genesis with dual heatsinks and dual 120mm fans. But here both heatsinks are horizontally aligned like two platforms, something that could make the cooling of other components a lot more efficient.

When Prolimatech’s new coolers will reach the market is unclear, but they are certainly different from piratically all other coolers on the market. The new super trio may not be as large as Scythes God’s Hand, but on the other hand they feel a bit more thought-through.
