Silverstone has launched a new series of power supplies in the Strider family, and the suffix Gold makes the intentions obvious. The power supplies are rated over 90% efficiency and comes with 80 Plus Gold certification. Other nice features are Japanese capacitors, quiet 135mm fan and all modular cables.
Silverstone Strider Gold launches in four capacities; 750 watt, 850 watt, 1,000 watt and 1,200 watt. The company has gone with a design that relies on a single +12V rail and the quiet 135mm fan will work at noise levels as low as 19 dBA. The power supplies are tested and certified to run 24/7 at temperatures up to 40 degrees Celsius.
