The following quote can be found in the next weeks edition of Times Magazine and indicates that Microsoft won’t let Sony march in and all over XboX 360. Considering the huge success of Halo 2 Halo 3 might cause some concern for Sony. ”Note to the hard-core faithful: the next version of Halo will not, repeat not, be ready in time for the launch of Xbox 360. It will be part of the all-important second wave next spring. ’It’s perfect,’ Gates says, radiant with bloodlust. ’The day Sony launches [the new PlayStation], and they walk right into Halo 3.'” Source: GamespotPlayStation 3, Sony’s next generation gaming consle and a diorect competitor to MS Xbox 360, will probably be launched during the mid of 2006. At the same time Microsoft will release Halo 3. It’s pretty clear that Halo 3 won’t become a launch title for Xbox 360 and instead they woll according to Bill Gates himself try to disrupt Sony’s launch of PlayStation 3 by launching the sequel to one the XboX’s biggest successes, Halo 2.
