The Phantom was suppose to be a kind of hybrid between a PC and a video game console. The winning edge would be the operating system that would allow you to rent and download games directly to the console. Simply reducing the amount of times you have to leave the house to fetch new games. The man behind the Phantom, Timothy Burrows, and the director of Phantom Entertainment has now decided to step down from his post and leave his position as chairman. The company wished him well and thanked him for his years at the company, yet there were no mention if this would actually lead to anything in the press release. Phantom Entertainment still hasn’t presented its product and that is perhaps why Burrows finally decided to leave.
