ASUS is the world’s largest motherboard maker and that it had a bunch of products to show during Computex was no surprise. A bit more unique was the iPhone application that enabled wireless overclocking, with the right motherboard from ASUS of course.

ASUS designed its own App for Apple’s smartphone that uses Bluetooth technology to connect to your motherboard and optimize or overclock the system wirelessly.

ASUS iPhone application is an extension of ROG Connect, which allowed a user to connect a notebook to a special USB port to overclocked and tweak the system remotely. Now it showed how the technology can be used via your iPhone. The application can be used to control most clock frequencies and voltages you might need, and according to ASUS the application was anything but easy to develop, which is why it took so long to complete it.

We don’t know for certain which motherboards that are supported by the iPhone application, but at Computex it used ASUS Rampage III Extreme and Intel Core i7 980X CPU.

Below are some of the other motherboards on display at ASUS’ booth.
