Okoro GX is a HTPC series above the rest. Okoro Media Systems has launched a the new series of HTPCs with not only impressive hardware inside, but also a remote that will break most other bundled remotes, an Apple iPad.
Okoro GX can be had with Intel’s latest Core i7 processors, SSD for the Windows 7 operating system and 2-4TB storage. Other interesting functions include Blu-ray with lossless multi-channel audio formats and recording of up to four simultaneous HDTV channels through CableCARD. Other functions worth mentioning are USB 3.0 and SATA 6,0 Gbps.
To control this month of a HTPC, OMS decided to ship its HTPC systems with an Apple iPad, dedicated to controling the HTPC from different rooms without having to be in sight of the actual HTPC.
The problems start with how you pay for this system. Even if an iPad is included the total cost of the entry model is $4995. Okoro OMS-GX100 comes with a Core i7-875K CPU, ATI Radeon HD 5850, 80GB SSD, 2TB storage and 6GB DDR3-RAM.
