OCZ has a new flagship of its power supply series ProXStream and with a maximal output of 1000W it is a worthy such. Specifications aren’t everything though and the most important thing is that it can perform accordingly and that there haven’t been any sacrifices made in the process of reaching 1kW. OCIA have tested OCZ’s latest creation and it seems OCZ has manage to build a really powerful power supply without any real compromises. It has managed to stick to a small formfactor and despite the power supply’s huge output the cooling is sufficient using only a 80mm fan. OCZ ProXStream 1000W seems to be a really good power supply, but perhaps a bit overkill to most people.
