It seems NVIDIA is going to move up the launch of the GeForce GTX series by one day. The e-mails published over at TheInq at least say so. The reason is said to be ”to align with additional Corporate Marketing initiatives”. The consumer/press embargo is now set to June 17, but the Channel Customer Embargo lifts on June 3, just in time for Computex. About the same time we should see ATI unveil the first cards of the Radeon HD 4000 series. The two will not compete directly, but both are expected to bring substantial upgrades in performance compared to the previous generations. We will keep you posted as more information surfaces.
