ATi will probably use a dual-slot cooler for its next generaion of graphic circuit R520, but noone knows for sure, to maximize the cards cooling and reach as high frequencies as possible. nVidia is planning on, according to The Inquirer, to launch G71, a sequel to G70 (7800 GTX), but the only real difference is a bigger cooler, dual-slot, and more memory. The larger cooler is not only for keeping temperatures down but also it will make it possible for G71 to reach even higher frequencies to match R520. If nVidia will succeed with this as well ATi will have even more to catch up to with R520.
