NVIDIA C51 is the codename for nVidia’s coming chipset for the K8-platform. The big news with C51 is its integrated graphic circuit, a feature we’ve missed with nVidia’s recent chipsets. Now information has appeared that points to that C51’s graphic circuit will be faster than any equivalent on the market today, among others ATi’s RS480. The graphic circuit in C51 will be a 6200TC-version and except for decent performance the circuit supports H.264-based HD-playback. Which requires a lot of processing power. Exactly what performance the C51 chipset will bring remains to see, but we hope it will be enough to at least play some of the most recent games.
