ULI has at several occations appeared in the news here at NH and it has always been a pleasure to present the circuits as they have always performed very well, even extremely well considering their very competitive prices. Well we the consumers and enthusiasts are not the only people who have realized the potential with this fairly young company and they chosen to make a move on the company and simply purchased them. It is none other than NVIDIA whcih has chosen to acquire ULI and its competence and it has pay $52 million in stocks for ULI. The reason is of course very simple: to be able to kick ATI futher down on the chipset market. Source: Digitimes
