Nintendo Wii will cost less than $250

Nintendo Wii has been rumored to be far less expensive than Microsoft and Sony’s next generaion video game consoles and now concrete information from Nintendo regarding the price of its next video game console Wii has arrvied. It will cost less than $250 when it arrives in the USA, which is expected to happen during the fourth quarter of 2006 about the same time as Sony release its PlayStation 3 console. A price beneath $250 means that Nintendo’s video game console will cost less than half of Sony’s introduction model. A quite significant difference which is of course also one of Nintendo’s strongest sales arguements. How much of difference there will be between the consoles remains to be seen, but it is pretty clear that Nintendo will be king of the prices also with the next generaion video game consoles, just as expected.
