Power supply manufacturer NesteQ has announced the launch of its third generation of power supplies; the E²CS series which comes with outputs up to 700W. The new series from NesteQ has two focuses, high efficiency (86%) and modular cables. The abbreviation, E²CS namely stands for Enhanced Easy Connecting System, but it’s actually more than just modular cables. You can also extend the cables if you have/want to, which in turn means that you will be able to optimize both the number of cables and their lengths in a quick and easy fashion.

Extended cable parts and HDD/FDD-connectors can be jointed up to the desired length and the required facility.

NesteQ E²CS has a 13.5cm fan that can be controlled through the motherboard and the 3-pin connector, or through other devices with this kind of functionality, e.g. a fan controller. We’re not sure what the prices of NesteQ’s new power supplies will be, but with 400W up to 700W of power there seems to be more than enough to choose from.
